築44年の商業ビルのリノベーション。外観は派手に着飾るのではなく、なんでもなくそこにある、というたたずまいだけで存在感が出せることを目指している。防災・電気・給排水設備について、現在の必要レベルに達するように更新しつつ、200坪もの面積をいかに安くリノベーションするか、という挑戦でもある。都市の中に埋もれているストックを再活用するための有効な実例となることを願う

Renovation of a 44years old commercial building. We are aiming that the appearance is not to showy, and to be able to give a presence only by the fact that there is nothing in it. It is also a challenge how to cheaply renovate an area of 200 tsubo while updating the disaster prevention, electricity and water supply and drainage facilities to reach the current required level. We hope it will be an effective example for reusing the buried stock in the city.
